Please include me on future work dates and other communications.
Live in WV and visit daughter frequently. Read the account of the cemetery in Garden and Gun and immediately became intrigued.
    Many thanks!

Its ashamed that this “historic” cemetery hasn’t been mowed most of the summer the grass is so high you can’t get to the grave stones. You did nothing sept 24 !! The grass is higher than the last time I went. It’s very disheartening to see the mess knowing my mother is out there. There needs to be something done and your phone says temporarily disconnected. You all should be ashamed. If you can’t manage the upkeep you shouldn’t offer the plot, but since you did its your responsibility to make sure loved ones can get to there deceased relatives.

Hello, First just wanted to let you know that this web site is run by the volunteers cleaning up the cemetery and not by the owners of the cemetery. We agree that the cemetery is in a shameful state. The owners seem to have stepped away sometime in May. With the owners not doing anything, it will be up to volunteers to clear and maintain all 60 acres of the cemetery. We volunteers are having a meeting with people who have family members buried at Evergreen and East End cemeteries. You are welcome to attend that meeting. It is at 8:30 AM at Shoney’s, at 9963 Hull Street Road on Wednesday, Oct. 12. We would also welcome your support of the clean up and restoration of the cemetery either through volunteering or making a donation. Feel free to contact me if you want more information.

Got something to say?
